Efiscens 2016 - 2026
Our DNA (
Mission, Vision, Values, Added Value)

Our story

Founded in 2016 by Irène Sesmaisons in Dakar, Efiscens is a consulting and training firm specializing in organizational structuring, strategic management, resource mobilization and monitoring and evaluation for organizations in the international aid sector in Francophone Africa.

Since its creation, Efiscens has supported international, national and local NGOs, foundations and development partners who want to move from a project-based approach to a sustainable transformation approach: strategy, leadership, accountability, partnerships and impact.

In April 2026, Khadi Touré joined Efiscens as an associate partner, bringing complementary expertise in resource mobilization (mapping, diversification) and the development of strategic partnerships, particularly with businesses (CSR). Khadi has shared testimonials about her past experiences, which can be viewed here.

Efiscens also calls upon its network of experts , who intervene on an ad hoc basis to support the implementation of projects according to their areas of expertise.

Together, they strengthen Efiscens' ability to support organizations at every stage of their development.

Our vision

A more lucid, fairer, more effective solidarity
In Francophone Africa, we believe that national philanthropy must take its rightful place and establish itself as a solid actor in solidarity.
For us, efficiency is not a slogan: it requires realism, practices adapted to the field, and fairer partnership models.

#ShiftThePower #Ringoproject #Charter4Change #Pledgeforchange #RootsInitiative inspires us.

Our mission

Participating in the consolidation of tomorrow's international aid
To help build a space for action centered on the common good, where flexible funding and proximity to the needs of the population become the norm.

Our approach

Efiscens offers a pragmatic, participatory, and results-oriented approach. Our method is based on structured and collaboratively developed assessments, participatory workshops, operational tools, and readily available training materials. Our deliverables are immediately usable.
Our interventions are designed to be adaptable, depending on strategic priorities, level of maturity and organizational realities.

Our values

Efiscens operates within a framework of equitable alliance, without hierarchy, driven by co-responsibility.
