Efiscens 2016 - 2026
Our DNA (Mission. Vision. Values. Added value)

Our story
Efiscens is a consulting and training firm specializing in organizational structuring, strategic management, resource mobilization, and monitoring and evaluation for solidarity-based organizations in French-speaking Africa.
Since 2016, Efiscens has been supporting international, national, and local NGOs, foundations, and development partners seeking to transition from a project-based approach to one focused on sustainable transformation: strategy, leadership, accountability, partnerships, and impact.
Irène Sesmaisons, a senior expert and certified trainer, founded Efiscens in 2016. Specializing in organizational management, capacity building, and program monitoring and evaluation, she recently wrote and published the book “Resource Mobilization by National NGOs,” accompanied by a comprehensive practical kit, and actively contributed to the development of the guide “Driving Change: How to Monitor and Evaluate Capacity-Building Support.”
In April 2026, Khadi Touré became an associate expert at Efiscens, bringing proven expertise in resource mobilization, communication, and strategic partnerships, particularly with businesses (CSR).
Efiscens also draws on networks of experts (Afecti, Expertes Francophones, Thegoodfeat, AOG) and, in particular, its network of experts, who provide ad hoc support to help implement projects based on their areas of expertise.
Together, they support organizations at every stage of their development.

Our vision
A more lucid, more equitable, more effective solidarity.
In Francophone Africa, we believe that national philanthropy must take its rightful place and establish itself as a solid actor in solidarity.
For us, efficiency is not a slogan: it requires realism, practices adapted to the field, and fairer partnership models.
#ShiftThePower #Ringoproject #Charter4Change #Pledgeforchange #InitiativeRoots inspires us.

Our mission
Participating in the consolidation of tomorrow's international solidarity.
To help build a space for action centered on the common good, where flexible funding and proximity to the needs of the population become the norm.

Our approach
Efiscens offers a pragmatic, participatory, and results-oriented approach. Our method is based on structured and collaboratively developed assessments, participatory workshops, operational tools, and readily available training materials. Our deliverables are immediately usable.
